The Spring 2013 Collection is finally in the shop. I am extremely proud of this collection, not only because they are all made by my hands, but more so because they represent MKliving’s aesthetics and living philosophy. Simplistic and stylish.
Using mostly 100% cotton (with the exception of embellishment), each piece allows for maximum comfort and breath-ability. I hope you will enjoy them as much as I do.
While making them, I selfishly was hoping to keep some of the design. Hubby reminded me that I am making them for hungry children around the world, and the profits will be donated to charities we are committed to.
The shop will be open until March 28th. Hubby and I are going on vacation for two weeks, therefore orders will be shipped out prior to March 28th. Orders after March 28th will be shipped after April 11.
Just finished the Spring 2013 collection for MKliving. Whew~
I am extremely happy with these dresses. This collection is about being comfortable while stylish. Something you can wear to a casual date like a picnic, and still feel like you are at home.
Now we just have to photograph them and post them to the shop. Coming up next week!
- Q: How do you know that spring is here for good?
A: by seeing new life sprouting everywhere in the backyard……
young chive sprouts, blueberry buds
kiwi buds, cherry buds
nectarine blossoms, loquat gained height
young rose suckling, blackberry trellis by hubby

Thank you all who have supported the MKliving shop from the last release, and in return, we have used the humble profits to stock the shelves of health clinics in needy communities through World Vision (to learn more about World Vision, be sure to click on the link and the below pic for video)
Here is a video to show what YOU have done for these children and their family =)
The following is a brief description of from World Vision:
“Your gift goes 12 times as far! Every day, thousands of children die because they do not have access to basic medicines that could save their lives. Your gift will multiply 12 times to help ship and distribute essential pharmaceuticals and medical supplies like: antibiotics, anti-fungals, anti-parasitic drugs, de-worming medications, disposable syringes, gastrointestinal drugs, painkillers and surgical supplies.”
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

As an novice in selling hand knits, I went back and forth from buying generic clothing labels or making my own. Finally, after some research and testing, I took the plunge in making my own. I should have done this sooner so the previous sold items would have label on them. Sincere apologies to friends who have supported the shop.
I just printed a fresh batch of labels, and still need to color set them before applying them onto the hand knits. Will keep you all posted in my process. So far I am starting with the easiest route – Jacquard Printable Cotton Sheets + Bubble Jet Rinse.
To be continued……
Finished another pair of the fingerless gloves, this time for a gentleman.
love love this color combo!
Also delivered the custom vest yesterday. As I was wrapping, I felt proud and sad at the same time. After spending hours designing and laboring over the vest, we developed a special bond.
I will miss you…
Thank all who have chosen to buy from our shop, you are changing someone’s life who desperately needs it. We will announce where the fund is donated to once it is finalized.
